DESCRIPTION:Dark matter and black holes\nThis workshop will bring together
astronomers\, cosmologists\, and particle physicists to discuss the fasci
nating connections between black holes and dark matter.   What can be lea
rned from the intertwined cosmological histories of dark matter and black
holes?  What are the interactions and observational consequences of vario
us dark matter candidates in the presence of black holes? Is dark matter c
omposed of black holes?  Was the formation of supermassive black holes in
fluenced by dark matter?  Can dark matter cause neutron stars to collapse
into black holes?   Can black hole observations reveal the particle prop
erties of dark matter?   We hope to shed light on these and other questio
ns that surround the profound mysteries of black holes and dark matter.\nD
