The most convenient airport to access TRIUMF and UBC is Vancouver International Airport (YVR).  From YVR, TRIUMF, UBC and other destinations in Vancouver are easily accessible via several options

• Taxi: (approximately $30)
• Public Transportation: The Canada Line runs straight to downtown Vancouver. TRIUMF and UBC can be accessed by taking the Canada Line to 41st street and transferring to Bus Line 41. The bus stops at "TRIUMF Centre" right in front of TRIUMF, at "Thunderbird Boulevard" right next to TRIUMF house, and then up to the UBC bus loop where it terminates.

The Translink bus service provides access to just about anywhere in Vancouver. The basic fare is $2.75 (exact change needed!) for a 1.5 hour window of travel. A pack of 10 passes can be bought for $22 at most convenience and drug stores (Shoppers, London's) and supermarkets.

 It may be in some cases more cost effective to fly to Seattle (SEA) and take a bus. Several companies operate buses between Seattle and Vancouver:

• Quick Coach
• Bolt Bus
• Amtrak (which also operates the Casacades Train Service)
