Main Conference
The main event will take a place at the Hongo campus of University of Tokyo. Many accommodations can be found in the neighborhood areas including Ueno, Okachimachi, and Shin-Okachimachi. These areas are popular tourist destinations as well. You can walk to the venue through Ueno park from hotels in these areas (15-30 min.). A little further away, Kanda, Asakusa-Bashi, Kuramae are less touristy and more local filled with small private shops and yet with many hotel options. Although options are very limited, a small town of Nezu is only 5-10 minutes walk from the venue.

Satellite Workshop
IPMU is located at the Kashiwa-no-ha campus of University of Tokyo. Kashiwa-no-ha is accessible from Tokyo via Tsukuba Express Railway (about 30 minutes if taking a limited express). Options for accommodation is somewhat limited in the area, and recommendation goes for those around the station as there are many stores and restaurants near the station. The first two in the list below are next to the shopping complex at the station. The third one is next to the IPMU campus. The first option is particularly popular and early reservation is recommended (it also comes with a large public bath with natural hot spring).
