Overview:

Enumerative geometry is a branch of mathematics concerned with (virtual) counting of geometric objects of interest, such as curves on algebraic varieties. Over the past 30 years, the field has seen significant developments, inspired by string theory and mirror symmetry. Several enumerative invariants of curves have been introduced, including Gromov-Witten invariants, Donaldson-Thomas invariants and Gopakumar-Vafa invariants. These invariants have proven important not only in enumerative geometry itself, but also in other areas of mathematics such as symplectic geometry, geometric representation theory, and integrable systems.

In this workshop, we will discuss recent developments in enumerative geometry from various perspectives. We invite speakers working in enumerative geometry in a broad sense and aim to foster active discussions among participants.

This is the third workshop in the Enumerative Geometry in East Asia (EGEA) series. The first was held at Academia Sinica in Taiwan, and the second at KIAS in Korea.
