Description
I will talk about the possibility of explaining both dark matter and dark energy in a single unified scalar field field matrix. This degree of freedom is also shown to interact with other matter (vector and fermioinic)fields to give rise to subtle effects in atomic spectroscopy. The observational features would also be discussed in detail.
