Description

Dates: April, 5-6, 2022

Venue: Online

Overview:
"Kyiv formula", found by O. Gamayun, N. Iorgov and O. Lisovyy, describes a remarkable relation between the c=1 Virasoro conformal block and the Painleve tau-function. Via the Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa correspondence, 4d supersymmetric quantum field theories play a key role in understanding the formula. The aim of this two-day workshop is to study the formula and its implications for both mathematics and physics.

Invited speakers:

Saebyeok Jeong (Rutgers)
Fabrizio Del Monte (CRM, Montreal U)
Hajime Nagoya (Kanazawa)
Yasuhiko Yamada (Kobe)

Organizing Committee Members :

Shota Komatsu (CERN),
Kazunobu Maruyoshi (Seikei)
Masahito Yamazaki (IPMU)
