- You can also grab some sushi in the supermarkets (either Tokyu Store inside Lalaport if you're staying near Kashiwanoha-Campus Station or Okkasan if you're staying at Mitsui Garden Kashiwanoha Parkside). They usually go on (20-50%) sale after 5:00-5:30PM

- Hirago is the best Tonkatsu around Kashiwa, Chiba and possibly also Tokyo area
- Anbai offers a wide variety of Tonkatsu with big portions and side dishes

- Sanchiya is open 1-3PM (also on weekends) featuring products from Kashiwa local farms
- Grün is a Western coffee shop and brunch restaurant close to Kashiwanoha-Campus Station and Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwanoha.
Coffee/Tea, Soft Serve/Gelato
Kashiwanoha
- Tully's Coffee, big chain in Japan with many seasonal drinks. There are three stores around Kashiwanoha-Campus Station and Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwanoha; two outside and one inside Lalaport.
- Doutor Coffee, another popular chain in Japan. There is one inside Kashiwanoha Park and one near campus, next to the National Cancer Center bus stop.
- 7-11 coffee is surprisingly good for the price. They also have frozen smoothies that you can blend yourself using the blending machines in the store. There are two stores near campus and another inside Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwanoha Park.
Kashiwa
- This tea store located between Kavli IPMU and Edogawadai Station offers tea and peanut products. They also serve the best soft serve in Kashiwanoha in Matcha and peanut flavors only for ¥220-270.
