The satellite workshop for Data Olympic at NPML (DO-NPML) preparation will take place at Kavli IPMU in the week before the main conference. Read this page carefully and submit this form if you plan to participate.
- When: October 20th (Monday) to 24th (Friday).
- Where: Kavli IPMU 1F Lecture Hall (20th to 22nd) and 4F/5F Balcony A/B (23rd and 24th)
The goal of the workshop is to prepare multiple data challenges for the up-coming first Data Olympic event at the next NPML conference (UC Irvine, June 2026). Read about these events here.
How you can participate
There are two ways to participate in the event.
- Contribute datasets for the data challenges
- Participate in preparation of planned data challenges
One can also participate in both ways. However, data providers (1) must organize other participants' activities in (2). We are more than happy to consult and help the organizational work.
Planned datasets include:
- LArTPC simulation datasets for data reconstruction challenges
- Water Cherenkov simulation datasets for data reconstruction and calibration challenges
- GiBUU neutrino event generator simulation datasets for surrogate R&D challenges
As more datasets are proposed, the above list will be updated.
