Asian Neutrino Community Meeting Announcement

The ICFA has established a Neutrino Panel to promote international cooperation in the development of the accelerator-based neutrino oscillation programs and to promote international collaboration in the development a neutrino factory as a future intense source of neutrinos for particle physics experiments (for more details on the Panel, see http://www.fnal.gov/directorate/icfa/neutrino_panel.html).

In this context, the Panel is planning an Asian Neutrino Community Meeting to collect input from the neutrino community in Asia and to receive reports from  regional planning efforts.  All neutrino community members in Asia as well as other regions are invited to attend this meeting.  The session will be held in the afternoon of November 13, 2013, the last day of the NNN13 workshop (http://indico.ipmu.jp/conferenceDisplay.py?ovw=True&confId=17).  The meeting will consist of a series of talks about the status and planning of future neutrino experiments in China, India, Japan, and Korea with emphasis on international accelerator-based neutrino oscillation experiments.  The talks will be followed by discussions among the meeting participants.

If you would like to provide your thoughts and opinions as input to this meeting, please submit them in advance by clicking the "Call for Abstracts" menu on the left side of this page and filling in the appropriate information.  A summary of the collected inputs will be shown during the meeting.

Though this meeting is open to neutrino community members across the world,  prior registration is required to participate.  There is no fee for participation.

The meeting program will be announced on this page as it becomes available.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Kashiwa,

Organizing Committee Members:
Jun CAO (IHEP), Soo-Bong KIM (SNU), Naba K Mondal (Tata), Takashi KOBAYASHI (KEK), Masato SHIOZAWA (ICRR)
