Overview
String Theory in the Greater Tokyo Area is the fifth in a series of workshops whose aim is to bring researchers of Tokyo and the greater Kanto area, working in the fields of strings, high-energy theory and related mathematics, together for lectures and research discussions, with the goal of developing ties and new research opportunities among the area’s research groups. The meeting will be divided between talks and ample discussion time among the participants.
Topics
superstring compactification, conformal and superconformal field theory, integrable systems,
hyper-Kaehler and quaternionic geometry, Calabi-Yau spaces, BPS states, moduli spaces,
string dualities, mirror symmetry, superstring cosmology
