Kavli IPMU 10th anniversary symposium 16 - 18 October 2017

Asia/Tokyo
Description
10th Aniversary

The Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU) was established on October 2007 as the Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe by the World Premier International Research Center Initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan, and became a member of the Kavli Institutes in 2012. As a part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the institute, we will host a scientific symposium, gathering leading scientists and bringing back some of our most successful former students and postdoctoral fellows to showcase the institute's achievements from the past 10 years, and to discuss future directions of our research. The symposium will be open to scientists interested in our areas of research.

Date: Oct 16 (Mon) - 18 (Wed), 2017

Venues: Kashiwanoha Conference Center, Kavli IPMU

Organizers:
Chair - Hirosi Ooguri (Caltech/Kavli IPMU)
